The inert synthetic zeolite construction of ATS irreversibly locks on to any lead in the solution reducing the concentration to below EPA guidelines with very short contact time. The LR works well in hard water, as well as in the presence of both iron and manganese, and is unaffected by varying degrees of pH in the water.

The Eden Excel? LR Series is a medium lead removal carbon cartridge that utilizes Engelhard's ATS Sorbent. This sorbent is a state of the art ceramic lead removal matrix with the addition of activated carbon. The filter matrix bonds lead both internally and irreversibly avoiding the possibility of release into the treated water.
