Noble Machinery started as a one man operation over 100 years ago. Today, it has carved a place as a leader in the woodworking machinery industry. High quality has been a top priority since the beginning and continues to be the main orientation today.

In addition to new machinery, the firm buys used equipment at auctions, as trade-ins and also from companies as a general course of business. The machines are brought to Fort Wayne where they are disassembled, cleaned, repaired and reassembled. They are then tested and warranted for 60 days against parts and workmanship. Brand name and OEM replacement parts are used to insure a quality rebuild.

Noble Machinery offers various types of equipment. The firm offers 25 to 30 lines of new machinery on an open basis. Noble Machinery keeps new Powermatic and Whirlwind machinery in stock for resale.

The firm was founded in 1895 by William Kieter Noble and began operation as a machine repair shop to service Mr. Noble's equipment, which was located in his other lumber operations. In the early years, the company also serviced and built cooperage equipment for manufacturing barrels, which Mr. Noble sold. The company became a corporation in 1933 and has had four generations of the Noble family as it's Presidents. The current President is Kent Noble, who took office in 1985.

The Noble Machinery Co., Inc. is a distributor of new and used woodworking machinery. The equipment sold by the company is for manufacturing wood products. The company takes pride in it's ability to provide quality new and used equipment to the furniture, cabinet and pallet industry.
