The new range of trucks have excellent environmental properties with the lowest possible emissions. A catalytic converter and particle filter are available as optional extras to reduce exhaust fumes to a minimum.
Frequent starting and stopping favour a hydrostatic transmission (available on 5,5-9 tonne machines). These combine smooth and gentle operation with speed and efficiency, while also reducing fuel consumption, and hence exhaust emissions.
