Heavy-duty bolted outboard planetary drive axle with friction
type rims for easy mounting and dismounting. Transmission
mounted, spring on, air off parking brake with brake saver
system (does not allow operator to drive through parking
brakes).
Steer Axle
Heavy-duty industrial design with single steer cylinder.
Heavy trunnion mounts with replaceable bearings and boltthrough
cylinder mounting. Sealed, tapered roller bearings.
Engines
Tier II certified Cummins QSB5.9-C230 electronic,
low emissions available in T-360S through T-520M models
only. Tier II certified Cummins QSC8.3-C240 electronic,
low emissions available in T-650S and T-700L. Tier II certified
Cummins QSC8.3-C240 electronic, low emissions is optional
in T-520 models. Built-in shut down system for engine and
transmission is standard. The T-Series promotes superior
strength, easy servicing and lower maintenance costs with the
Tier II Cummins engines' reliability, durability and
fuel efficiencies.
Transmissions
Heavy-duty 3-speed powershift transmission with automatic
powershift control standard; Full directional modulation for
soft directional changes and separate air-to-oil transmission
cooler produce speeds, ratios, and performance required of
the 36 and 48 load center T-Series lift trucks.

Operator Station
All models certified to meet ANSI B56.1 FOPS operator protection.
Shock mounted, center mount operator station location
standard; other optional positions available. Individual fingertip
hydraulic remote controls for smooth, precise control. Tilt
steering for operator comfort with fingertip full hydrostatic steering.
Hinge down instrument panel and reset circuit breakers
makes servicing easy. Durable premium vinyl mechanical
suspension seat for reduced vibration and anti-cinch operator
restraint allows movement and operator comfort.
Electrical Systems
The 12-volt electrical systems include two 4-D batteries mounted
in an easy access box, 100-amp alternators, and key actuated
anti-restart type ignitions. Manual reset circuit breakers are
mounted in the instrument. Key-switch activated amber strobe
lights, transmission-activated back alarms, and forward movement
alarms are all standard equipment.
Masts and Carriages
Standard ULTRA-VU two stage mast with excellent visibility;
Greaseable dual tapered type bearings with shields for common
main rollers and sealed, adjustable, greaseable side rollers.
Mast pivot housing is two-piece bolt-on for easy, safe service
removal. Dual flow control valves allow controlled lowering in
the event of hose failure. Accumulator in lift circuit. Optional full
width fork positioning and optional side-shift carriage in variable
widths. Forks are pin mounted and are full width adjustable.
