XRS 14 ac - XRS 16 ac - XRS 20 ac Reach truck with rubber tyres The rubber tyres reach truck looks like an ideal lift truck when it is needed one single machine for both indoor and outdoor material handling. Outdoor material handling is often with irregular floors, not suitable for lift trucks fitted with polyurethane wheels, specific for indoor warehouse trucks. It is instead easy to work with rubber tyres trucks. The handling cycle using one single lift truck, allows transporting the load unit from the warehouse shelf directly to the lorry platform (and vice versa) and it is simpler and quicker. Chassis The reach truck has a 3 points layout structure (2 load wheels, 1 drive wheel) with stability pads under the driving cab. The chassis has a cast steel ballast weight to lower the trucks load centre and got excellent level of stability. Operator place The operator place is wide and ergonomic. An intermediate step makes easier the access the operator place. The reach truck is fitted with a cushioned seat with proper adjustments. Steering Electric steering: silent and effortless for the driver. The steering wheel has an adjustable position in order to be placed accordingly drivers need. The electric steering is rheological: the steering effort can be adjusted accordingly the operator wishes. Traction The XRS is equipped with a Powerful 6.5 kW AC technology traction motor. The traction unit (motor-gear-rubber wheel) has a patented suspension system that reduces the dumping and prevents the drive wheel wear (that is made by cushion rubber to last more). Hydraulic The pump unit has a 14 kW powerful AC technology motor. All hydraulic functions are managed by finger-tip levers. The truck is fitted with tilting mast. Brakes The reach truck is equipped with a service brake (via foot pedal) that acts on the load wheels. Inversion brake comes switching the direction button and pressing the acceleration pedal. The truck has also the release braking when leaving the foot from the accelerator pedal. An electromagnetic brake works as parking brake (console button). Battery Two different battery cases are available to adapt to the workload. Side battery removal is possible using an external trolley (option).
