Full-flow oil cleaning system with one replaceable paper filtering element. Liquid -oil heat exchanger for engine oil cooling. A "pushing" type fan with a fan belt drive. Heat condition control is
run by the thermostat. Transmission oil cooling is run by engine cooling liquid in the heat exchanger mounted separately from engine. An anticorrosive filter is used in the cooling system.
GERABOX
Planetary-type gerabox, to be shifted under load, with clutches of 415 mm diameter, operating in oil and having high capability of transmitting the torque, providing three forward gears and three
reverse ones. As per design, it is connected with a matching reducing gear and the main drive forming a single power unit to be mounted in a rear axle housing. Three element one-stage torque
converter of 410 mm efficient diameter, Ko=2,9 maximum trans-formation coefficient, with a pump drive reducing gear, is connected with a gerabox by a spline clutch and is mounted at the front wall
of the rear axle. The torque converter is connected with an engine by drive line and an elastic clutch mounted on the engine.

PIPELAYING EQUIPMENT

Track chains: assembled with one-grouser track shoes and a seal package for retaining fluid lubricant in the hinge which helps increase the life time. The track chain tension can be easily adjusted

BOOM AND HOOK DRUM DRIVE AND THEIR CONTROL
A boom and a hook winches are driven by hydraulic motors. Control of hydraulic motors is provided by distributor which enables rotation of boom and hook drums simultaneously at any gear and in any
direction. A hydraulic system features double cleaning system with replaceable paper filtering elements and forms a single unit with transmission hydraulic system. Due to that temperatures in both
systems of the pipelayer are universally maintained. Winch drives have planetary systems built- in drums as well as double speed gerabox with a normally applied brake and overrunning clutch to
avoid brake release when moving uphill. Forced lubrication and cooling of bearings, pinions and brakes of a drive. The winch drive design allows replacing any module without dismantling the whole
drive from the pipelayer.
