nonproductive operations, such as mechanization of shunting operations.
The hoist consists of a motor, a mechanical transmission to operational drum, a double-reduction cylinder and worm gear, a two-sectional drum, a block brake, a friction coupling and a welded base
carrying the hoist units.
The reducer is designed to enable manual drive in case of operation with dead motor. To provide this one end of the shaft worm is exposed from the reducer housing and has a shank for a
wrench.
The block brake is normally closed with spring breaking. At the motor startup the brake is automatically disconnected with an electromagnetic drive through a leverage (or automatically
disconnected with an electrohydraulic pusher).
At the hoist startup the rope is reeled off from one section and reeled on another section.
The drum rotation direction can be reversed.
