Welded drum housing also nullifies skewing effect Drum housing plates are not aligned with each other. As both the plates are fixed with long distance bolts in other types of Hoist, Drum housing plates as fixed with long distance bolts are not eligned with each other perfectly. This is not the case with Anker Brand Wire Rope Hoists.
