Non-contact processing Cross-Web systems provide scoring and micro-perforating of materials in the cross-web direction. This processing provides easy-open/easy-tear capability on materials for vertical form, fill and seal machines. Contour systems produce continuous scoring in a non-linear pattern along a web direction. Preco Cross Web Series laser systems utilize high speed directed beam technology to create contour and cross web scoring and perforating at web speeds up to 457 m/minute (1500 feet/minute) depending on print repair distance and film type. |
