GAP Laser is therefore able to follow the evolution of a product from the initial concept to series production and commercialization, applying to the manufacturing process the highest quality standards to guarantee product reliability.
The facility is equipped with all the up-to-date resources to support design and manufacturing, including software for mechanical, optical and electronic design (CAD) and high quality instrumentation. A controlled contamination environment is set up inside the factory for opto-mechanical assembly, R&D testing and series production.
GAP Laser has skills in the R&D of diode based laser sources and systems, design and manufacturing capability, in addition to an extensive knowledge of the market and applications. The cooperation with focused partners, when needed, allows to accomplish the company mission.
The three founders share a highly qualified academic and professional career, which begins years ago at the University of Pavia (Italy), where they graduated in Electronic Engineering with specialty (PhD) in Optics and Opto-electronics and continues with employment at one of the leading Italian laser companies, where they worked successfully for several years.
GAP Laser s.r.l. has been established in November 2006 and started its activity in January 2007 with the emission of designing and manufacturing DPSS laser sources and systems for industrial, medical and scientific applications.
