In detail Simple, ground-breaking operation The PremiumSetter is extremely easy to operate thanks to its intuitive navigation and ergonomic user interface. The operating and control program runs on a Windows operating system. The machine can be operated using either the touchscreen or the fold-out keyboard. Engraving progress can be monitored throughout. Cylinder mounting the secret to success The PremiumSetter has two mobile bearing blocks equipped with inverse cones for clamping the air cylinder axles. This concept has already been tried and tested successfully in automatic gravure form manufacture. High performance and high resolution laser The PremiumSetter incorporates a fiber laser with a resolution of 2540 dpi that enables screen rulings of up to 80 l/cm and relief depths up to 800 ?m. As a result, the extremely powerful, fine recording beam of this laser yields results of unparalleled quality. Compatible and standardized input data The PremiumSetter engraves ready-screened 1-bit TIFF data that can be provided by several RIPs from a whole range of manufacturers. This solution enables effortless integration into existing production environments. The key to first-class quality The 3D profiling integrated into the device uses two-dimensional 1-bit data to create three-dimensional screen dot descriptions that regulate the intensity of the laser beam. 3D profiling enables lowering of the screen plateau (referred to as undercut) to be controlled digitally. This process yields outstanding results, particularly in highlights and ultrafine lines. |
