This versatile tool slices through many materials which cannot be economically cut by other means.Built on many years of high-production, high-tolerance factory-based cutting experience, the Field PASER assures you the efficiency and reliability for your toughest mobile cutting jobs.Flexible DesignThe Field PASER's pre-aligned cartridge-style cutting head gives you total flexibility. Since the waterjet orifice and the carbide mixing tube are pre-aligned, no additional adjustment is necessary. Simply attach the cutting head to any standard or custom tracking device, active the abrasive flow and you are ready to cut.In the event that either the waterjet orifice or carbide mixing tube should require replacement in the field, the pre-aligned cartridge is fully serviceable. You may replace either of these components without sacrificing the entire cartridge assembly.Interchangeable orifices allow the operator to easily adjust the flow rates in the filed to meet each job's requirements. For thinner materials, low volumes of water and abrasive may be desirable. For thicker material and for faster cutting rates, a large-volume nozzle combination can be used.The TechnologyThe Field PASER uses a single sapphire orifice which focuses a high-energy stream of water through the center of a mixing chamber. Abrasive particles are pulled into the mixing chamber and entrained into the waterjet stream where the particles become accelerated to very high velocities. Traveling at speeds of several times the speed of sound, the abrasive waterjet becomes a powerful, supersonic cutting tool.The Field PASER is the first mobile abrasive waterjet cutting system that allows you to efficiently use the full flow and pressure ratings of Flow's HUSKY pump - 6.5 gallons per minute (24 Ipm) at pressure up to 40,000 psi (2720 bar).ApplicationsAbrasive waterjets are routinely used in sensitive environments where a cold cutting method is required. Flow abrasive waterjet systems are currently at work decommissioning oil and gasoline storage tanks, obsolete rockets and munitions as well as nuclear reactor components.
