Automatic Laser Marking System

FunctionThe in-line laser-marking-system ALS 03 is designed to mark PCB?s solder resist by means of a 10 W CO2 laser. The laser and the galvo head are mounted above a conveyor on a servo driven X/Y-gantry. Once loaded from the upstream machine, the PCB is stopped, clamped and lifted into the target plane. The laser then moves to the pre-programmed positions, marking individual codes like barcode, datamatrix-code, plain text and logos onto the product. The code content is verified by an integrated 1D/2D-scanner. An optional CCD-Camera together with a frame-grabber plus dedicated software is used for offfset-correction.
