Laser Guided Vehicle (LGV) is an AGV with Laser navigation system. It scans reflectors around it, calculates traveling path and transports goods to programmed destination.
LGV has same features as AGV, but the biggest advantages of LGV to AGV are that route work such as wire embedding or tape attachment is not necessary and that change of route is done simply and economically in computer software only. |
