The DL pro 780 combines extended tunability with highest stability, two previously incompatible characteristics of external cavity diode lasers. This is possible only due
to TOPTICA's innovative mechanical RockSolid II design. Based on a novel engineering approach, it provides much reduced susceptibility against environmental acoustic
noise. Special care has been taken also in choosing dimensions and materials to reduce frequency shifts caused by variations of the ambient temperature. The laser can
easily be set to any wavelength within the specified tuning range of 30 nm. An optimized pivot point leads to a modehop-free scan range so far unmatched by any other
commercial Littrow-type grating stabilized diode lasers. As the ideal laser for many demanding applications, the DL pro 780 ensures TOPTICAs leadership in the market for
external cavity diode lasers for the years to come.
