The new axis concept is characterized by two new elements - Gantry drives in the X and Y directions and a highly dynamic additional axis in the X direction, the Xp axis. This makes it possible
to move just the cutting head and its connections, within a working range of 1500 mm x 300 mm. All travel and positioning motions are carried out considerably faster,resulting in reduced
processing times. The effects of the outstanding machine dynamics are particularly noticable when cutting thin sheets with many contours.
