GE 752 direct current engine of a drilling rig has become an "industry standard", since the model was released in the 1950s.  In addition to drilling units, this model is used in anchor winches, auxiliary pumps and steering systems.

The engines manufactured by GE company are successfully used on rigs, whether the drilling is done to produce oil or gas. The most powerful drilling equipment on both marine and land rigs all over the world is fitted with the engines of direct and alternating current of GE company.
