The standard enclosure IP65 makes the drives suited for use in dusty environments.

Fast and easy servicing
The monorail drive is positioned by means of braking.  Gear motors as from size 90 (1.1 kW) are available with built on brake.  As from size 80 (0.37 KW) built on bake is available as option.  Brake mounted on the outside of the fan cowl makes the maintenance / servicing fast and easy.

The powerful BM 30 and BM 40 have already stood the test of many different heavy load applications.

BM 09 has exactly the same connecting dimensions and reduction gear as the SZ2-V3209 gear types that have been sold in large numbers over the last 20 years.

The Bauer 2000 gear motor range that was launched in 1977 has now been extended by a complete range of monorail drives.
Types BM09 and BM10 for low load application fulfill the requirements of directive C1 of VDE 3643.
