1) Suitable for frequent starts / stops, inching and plug braking operations.
2) The robust squirrel cage construction ensures minimum maintenance
and trouble free operations.
3) Forced cooling arrangement is provided for continuous cooling of the motor.
4) Built in thermal protection is provided by embedding thermostats in the winding.
This ensures protection of the motor against failure due to excessive heating caused by severe starting duty, single phasing, overloading, low voltages etc.
5) Compact in size, as the auxiliary fan motor used for forced cooling is an integral part of the main motor.

SALIENT FEATURES

Cane Unloader Motors have been primarily developed for unloading cane at Sugar Mills. These motors can be used for lifting applications where high switching frequencies lead to overheating and burnouts in many applications they substitute slipring motors.
