DS/CM series

SEW synchronous servomotors are ideal for highly dynamic applications. The new CM motor series, available in three sizes, each with three lengths, covers the 570 Nm (40620 in-lb) static torque range. Equipped with high-energy NdFeB magnets, these motors offer high overload capacity of 400% standstill current as standard. Thanks to its modern magnetic circuit layout, the CM servo motor has a compact design with very high power density. The DS series, with its three lengths, covers the lower 14 Nm (940 in-lb) static torque range. The acceleration torques of the motors are three to four times the static torque for all sizes. All motors come equipped with standard thermal motor protection and resolver feedback for motor control.
