Extractor Motor

Applications are large commercial laundry machines with a capacity for several hundred pounds of dry material. These machines are typically used institution such as hotels, hospitals, prisons, and other commercial laundry businesses.

Reuland "Washer/Extractor" motors are AC induction, squirrel cage motors, typically multi-speed or variable speed. Washer/Extractor motors are designed to operate at slow speeds for the reversing washing cycle, medium speeds for the initial extract and high speeds for the final extract (spin) operation. Motors are typically belt driven to large drums with high overhung shaft loads and designed to accelerate high inertia loads. Available in both open and enclosed enclosures, designed for specific duty cycles.
