STANDARDS
Elevator Motors comply with the following standards and specifications;
IEC 34-5, VDE 0530, DIN 42950, TS 3067
MECHANICAL CONSTRUCTION
Housing and the end shields are made of GG20 quality grey cast iron. Motors are manufactured as B3 foot mounting A4 flange mounting type. B3 motors have 2 equal shaft ends on each sides. The axial
play of the shaft is 1,5 mm. terminal box is arranged laterally on the housing. Rotating parts are dynamically balanced.
INSULATION
Motor windings are insulated with class F. The maximum temperature rise is 105 K for this class.
OUTPUT
Output is calculated from both synchronous and asynchronous (92% of synchronous speed) speeds. In our tables both synchronous power (as HP) and asynchronous power (as kW) are stated.
The slip for both the high speeds of two speed-motors and single-speed motors is about 8-10 %. For low speeds of two-speed motors the slip varies between 10 and 18 % according to the speed ratio
and the output.
The rated outputs given in the tables refer to the ambient temperature of 40
