Flange Insulation Gasket Kit

We use teflon gasket in both types. Sleeves are made up of polyethylene. Insulating washers are made up of phenol fiber.

For both types, it is recommended that a corrosion protection tape is wrapped around the outside of the flange to prevent intrusion of foreign material.

Type E gaskets are designed for full protection of flanges, and have the same outside diameter as the flange. Each gasket has precision-located bolt holes.

Type F gaskets are for the raised face portion of flanges. The outside diameter of the gasket is slightly smaller than the inside diameter of the bolt hole circle. The outside diameter is designed for alignment by the insulating sleeves. 

Our flange insulation gasket kits are composed of a gasket, insulating sleeves, two insulating and two steel washers for each bolt. There are two types for the gasket:  "F" and "E". 

Flange insulation gasket kits are used to electrically insulate two flanges.
