These are essentially line contact gaskets while the corrugations provides support. Filler material can be Flexible Graphite, Expanded PTFE etc.
The metal core material can be Copper, Aluminum, Brass, Stainless Steel, Monel and so on.
Corrugated Metal Gaskets is made of corregated metal core with graphite or PTFE filler material stick on both sides.
Corrugated matalic gaskets are widly used for pipe and heat exchanger sealing. CMG needs low torque and easy to make and install
