These gaskets can have inserts of CAF, Rubber, Corrugated steel sandwiched between CAF rings, PVC or as per your specifications. Solid Gaskets can be made to order in different types of shapes and sizes.
The slit type is perfectly adequate for many applications where cost is a major consideration . The envelope in this variety does not present a full face to the flange.
Milled type envelope is perhaps the better of the two since it is made to fit the insert and presents a flat face to the flange. Fused and envelopes are being manufacutred from 400mm to any size with a maximum wall thickness of upto 100mm. Delivery is possible on an urgent basis, without any extra cost.
