Elecon has already developed two defferent sizes of such gear boxes, viz 250 KW and 55 KW respectively for M/s NEPC Micon & BHEL Hyderabad. These gear boxes are coaxial and (Wind Turbine) shaft mounted working at 40 Mtr high on the tower. The internals are carburised, hardened and ground and specially profile corrected for speed increasing gear application.
