D-M-E Stellar Hot Runner Systems bring hoigh performance, exacting precision and flexible, cost-effective modular construction to very small part molding. With as little as 17mm between centers, Stellar is also ideal for high-cavitation molding. Stellar was designed for outstanding processing of high performance engineered materials, and also performs well with commodity materials. Key features of the system include a choice of balanced multi-nozzle assemblies (MNAs) for standaline use or for use under a manifold in high cavitation molds. Stellar offers a threaded nozzle connection for standard manifolds and compression nozzle connection for custom manifolds. Seven different "A" dimensions from 45 to 105mm are available. Two interchangeable tip styles - point gate and sprue gate - are also available. Stellar hot runner nozzles use relaiable profied mini-tubular heaters to ensure optimal heat distribution. In addition, Stellar nozzles are engineered with low conductivity heads and high conductivity tips for consistent thermal performance. Front-loaded Stellar nozzle tips, retainers mini-tubular heaters and thermocouples provide maximum uptime as all can be easily replaced wit the mold remaining in the press. Stellar offers the industry broadest line of standard manifolds. A wide variety of Multi-Nozzle Assemblies (MNAs) are available in standardzed configurations of 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 16 drops.
