The laser rapid prototyping process is the outcome of machinery, laser, photochemistry, software and control technology. It is based on the theory that the photosensitive resin will be frozen at the time of exposure under the ultraviolet light. The computer controls the laser to scan and cure the section layer by layer until the physical prototype made of photosensitive resin is obtained in the end. This process can shorten the processing time and the precision of the products can meet the design requirements. It can shorten the development time of the products.
