Casting Mold

MK Technology introduced aluminum casting mold process already in 80s after decades of traditional steel mold production. MK's first process in Korea was aluminum 2pcs mold which was followed by more complicated aluminum segmental mold in early 90s.

MK has competitive advantages in the casting mold; in-house aluminum foundry, tread master model engraved by advanced 5-axis machining centers and computer controlled sidewall manufacturing system which enable to make any design of lettering and logos.

MK developed unique capability of the aluminum casting. Not only the 2pcs mold, but segmental mold is being made with one-piece casting which has been possible through sophisticated tread design technology and precision wire cutting technique. MK can entertain any of the customers' requirements in terms of material; ASTM 355 (JIS AC4D), ASTM514(JIS AC7A)
