engraved sipe. And it has been a chronical question,"How many sipes can be installed into the engraved tread with cost advantage? MK successfully supplied engraved segment tread with over 1,000
sipes already supported by R&D engineer's special project.
MK Technology selected material for engraved mold primarily with WELDURAL, German made special aluminum alloy and as an alternatives M-1, American made aluminum alloy as well as conventional ASTM 514 for PCR and TBR. In accordance with customers' requirements, MK also produces steel engraved mold especially for those customers who want improved quality while conservatively stay with conventional steel mold characteristics especially for the truck/bus radial tires.
