Each block is TESTED to one and half times the safe working load through a length of lift which will ensure that every part of the block mechanism and each tooth of the gears comes under load. A Test Certificate is to the same issued during testing.
HAND CHAIN: Is calibrated, Mild Steel to ensure non-fatigue free operation without hurting the hands.
MACHINED CHAIN GUIDES to give more efficient operation of chains.
THE Ratchet WHEEL: has a large number of teeth for smooth operation and minimal backlash. The pawl is wide faced to ensure full engagement irrespective of the brake wear.
THE HAND CHAIN WHEEL: Made from High Grade Cast Iron. Can br easily removed for full inspection of the brake and pawl.
LOAD WHEEL: is made from Steel Casting/Malleable Iron, with seats for chain links.
THE HOOKS: are made from Forged Steel with high ductility and toughness as per relevant BS/IS. They will open out rather than fracture in cases of severe over-load. Hooks swill through 3600.
GRADE T(8) ALLOY STEEL LOAD CHAIN: to is used. Alloy Steel gives strength and safety combined with long life.
Alloy steel, Machine cut and hardened TRIPLE SPUR GEARS share the load between two trains to ensure efficiency and safety.
BRAKES: Screw and Friction type self actuating Load Pressure Brake with two Tera\odo typq asbestos base friction discs to ensure long life and permit lowering without over heating. Does not get disturbed by humidity easily.
RIGID PRESSED STEEL COVER: Protects the gears and is easily removed for inspection and gear lubrication.
RUGGED STEEL FRAME: Suppports gears and maintains alignment.
