Application
The pump set is designed to be applied in emergency conditions by fire brigades
for pumping water Into the tanks of fire engines from natural sources as well
as for pumping water from flooded rooms and for emergency extinguishing, Furthermore,
it can be used in agriculture, in case of failures in water supply and
sewerage piping systems, for efficient aeration of water tanks, etc. With the pump
set, polluted water with impurities of the grain size up to 15 mm can be pumped
as well, a mm. height of water level being 20 mm. It can be also operated without
liquid (, dry run"), without being seized or overheated.

Design
The floating pump is of a light and compact design. It is driven by spark-ignition
four-stroke air-cooled engines - for lower parameters there is the HONDA 120 GXV
with its power input 2.9 KW GXW 120 (118 cm3,2.9 KW), for higher parameters there
are HONDA GXV 160 (163 cm3,4 KW), or the CENTURA 65 (195 cm3,4.8 KW) available.
The pump is of centrifugal single-stage type, provided with a discharge branch
of diameter 50 mm. Together with this set, a Floating Sludge Collector PPCA-8"
may be delivered, being available for pumping a thin film off a water level (e.g.
a crude oil stain having been bonded by VAPEX" etc).
