Peroni Pompe S.p.A., established in Milan in 1895, has been manufacturing reciprocating pumps since the beginning of its business. In the early fifties significant results were achieved in designing and manufacturing pumps for liquid ammonia and ammonium carbamate, operating in the first pilot plant in the world for urea production, allowed Peroni to be successful on the international market in this process application and in all the fields where high pressure is involved in continuous and heavy duties

Peroni has been devoted to this field since its origin and has been supplying pumps and systems both for on- and off-shore installations. The most significant applications are carried out in the following sectors : gas treatment, recovery and stocking plants, glycol and methanol well-head injection units, chemical injection systems, plant for injection into oil wells of water or liquefied CO2, crude oil pumping stations and units for pipeline pressure testing
