The LCC can also be found in environmental cleanup, dewatering (low head type), pulp and paper (liquor transfer), food processing (sugar and sugar beets), coke and resin pumping and ash handling.
It is used primarily in mineral processing, fine primary mill grinding, chemical slurry service, tailings, secondary grinding, in-plant processes, sand and gravel, and coal preparation.
Interchangeability
The LCC's modular design affords a high degree of interchangeability between metal and elastomer wear parts and mechanical components. This interchangeability simplifies your maintenance programs
and allows you to vary operating conditions at minimal cost.
The first number is the discharge nozzle DN. The second number is the nominal impeller diameter. For example, the LCC 50-230 is an LCC with a 50-millimeter (two-inch) discharge nozzle DN and a 230 millimeter (nine-inch) nominal impeller diameter.
Standard Models and Their Designation
LCC-R slurry pumps are suitable for moderate discharge head, fine particles and highly corrosive slurries.
LCC-R slurry pumps feature:
The liners are vulcanized to metal backing plates and captured at the split casing, suction discharge flanges and stuffing box area to maintain hydraulic and hydrostatic integrity.
LCC Rubber-Lined Series (LCC-R)
The LCC Rubber-Lined Series features a split-casing design with molded, replaceable rubber liners. The molded liner may be specified in a variety of natural and synthetic rubbers. Natural gum
rubber is standard. The liners offer a shore-A hardness of 30-40 with a tensile strength minimum of 2,700 psi (18 n/mm2).
LCC-R Slurry Pumps are heavy-duty slurry pumps for abrasive or abrasive-corrosive service. These pumps are available in split-case, elastomer-lined construction.
