Rotary Seals

OR-type rotary seals are mainly used to alter the pressure from one side of the seal to another side, for example, the axle of a rotary caterpillar track, swivel joint and hose reel. They are also used in hydraulic systems of machine tools. If these seals are used as cylinder end seals, dust rings should be used to close up this structure.
In consideration of these special working conditions, OR-type rotary seals have one or two round grooves for lubrication.
This sealing structure has the following advantages:
Short fitting length.
Small starting friction, no climbing effect, and constant movement can be ensured, even at low speeds.
Low abrasion and wearing.
Resistant to compression.
Resistant to high temperature.
Since the piston rod sealing ring has relative high chemical compatibility and there are various materials available for O-rings, they are compatible with almost all media.
Products with a diameter of up to 1,500mm are available.
