O-RINGS & RUBBER PACKINGS :

Stock standard compounds include Brna-N (Nitrile), neoprene, EPR, silicone, flourosilicone, and flourocarbon (Viton). Also for unique applications, special rubber compounds, urethane, and Teflon, as well as special sizes are available.

TCK offers a complete line of compounds that are approved to every military and industrial specification.

For o-ring and special shaped circular packings, there are different sealing element or material choices, include nit rile(NBR), polyacrylate (ACM PA), silicone (MVQ), fluoroelastomer (FKM, FPM), natural rubber, EPDM and HNBR.

There are variations in profile design otter then circular. These include X shaped, D shaped T shaped, and other shaped circular packings. These different design are for different functions and environmental conditions.

An O-ring is a loop of elastomer with a round (o-shaped) cross-section used as a mechanical seal or gasket. They are designed to be seated in a groove and compressed during assembly between two or more parts, creating a seal at the interface.
