WATER SWELLABLE TAPES

HISTORY:Water Swellable Tapes is manufactured by us first time in India having maximum moisture absorbency with a good mechanical and cross-mechanical strength. The base material is non-woven polypropylene having high porosity. Special granual powder is spreaded and sandwitched between two layers. Available in black & white colour. The black is semi-conducting in nature whereas white is not. It is available in slit widths of 1000 mtr length.APPLICATION:By cable industries, underground cables are tapped with water swellable tapes, Braided & PVC extruded. Due to any accident if the pvc shield is cut this Water Swellable Tapes doesn't allow water to penetrate inside the cable and saves it from further damages.
