Introducing the TAMAR SEAL from Jack Tyler Engineering Company.
Tamar has a very unique mechanical seal that utilizes a pressurized cartridge, a crenellated shaft sleeve, and injectable packing. The worse the product (e.g. slurries, think fluids, abrasives, etc.) the better the seal. They can run dry all day long with no damage, take extensive shaft runout, and do not need to be flushed, and can be serviced while the pump is running.
