Applications

A variety of side chains are fitted, depending on application, including 3,000 lb. loose link to 24,000 lb. hollow bearing pin chain. The side chains are retained either with a split pin and washer arrangement, which permits simple dismantling for maintenance purposes, or a welded washer.

Belts are supplied in standard pitches from 1.25 to 9 and 40 mm to 160 mm, with thicknesses ranging from 1.5 mm to 6 mm

Plate Link Belts are constructed in a range of materials including hot and cold rolled mild steel, pre galvanised mild steel and stainless steel. Slats can also be treated after manufacture using surface finishes including galvanising, bright zinc plating and Teflon coating for your custom application.
