This kind of wire belt consists of alternating right and left hand spirals joined by a crimped connector. These mesh belts are also available as a Double Balanced construction, which is an assembly of pairs of right and left hand spirals properly spaced by crimped connectors. Very dense meshes may require a straight connector, like the cord weave belt.
