The VAP-600A Priority Valve, installed on a Priority Panel, is designed to allow compressed gas coming from the compressor(s) to fill Cascade Storage Banks in ascending order ie. the smallest volume storage bank will be filled first to a nominal pressure, followed by the next larger volume storage bank and finally by the largest volume storage bank. The function of the Priority Valve is to open and to allow gas to flow to the next larger storage bank, after the previous bank has been filled to a nominal pressure.
