The 2 1/2" 61524 valve differs from the 4" valve only in the upper housing. The lower half and pilot valve assemblies are identical - providing full interchangeability and flexibility when the need to upgrade arises.

Suitable for standard 18" or larger pits, this compact valve can even be retrofitted to the older 12" and 13" Avery Hardoll type pits.

Carter produce hydrant pit valves in both 4" and 2 1/2" sizes. The Carter 60554 API/IP (4") Hydrant Valve is installed at hundreds of locations world-wide. It is available as lanyard operated, air operated or both (dual pilot option) with the latter available with defuelling option.
