In order to meet all your normal as well as emergency break-down requirements we maintain a high stock level of our full range of products, including all components, parts, valves, tubing and filters.

Since those early days Numatics Cape has grown into a company with a sizable staff compliment at the head office in Cape Town and with distributors in all major centres throughout South Africa.

We have a fully fledged manufacturing workshop where we manufacture all cylinders be it "standard"or "as specified" as well as doing general Engineering. All manufactured items are fully tested before it leaves our workshops

As the business grew, agreements where signed with other suppliers and today Numatics Cape, with "Numatics" and "Chanto" as core products and with additional products like "CS Solenoid", YJ Control, EASUN fittings and "Shan hua" plastics can satisfy their customers' full requirements for pneumatic products and services.

With a substantial growth in sales, Numatics Cape became concerned that as a "regional" distributor they would never be in control of their own destiny and started looking for other products to compliment their range of pneumatic products and services in order to expand their base in South Africa. After several trips to various Eastern Countries an agreement was signed with "Chanto" as sole distributor for their products in South Africa.

Within three years, owner, Mike Sutcliffe, turned the business into a "four" man concern and purchased premises in Maitland, Cape Town, from where they are still trading today. At this time Numatics Cape was granted "sole agency" for "Numatics" in the Westen Cape.

March 1997. It started as a one man concern operating from home and later from an office in Paarl, South Africa, representing 'numatics' products in the Western Cape.
