Plug Valves
Plug valves are manufactured from forged carbon or alloy steel and can be supplied in any of the API material classes suitable for Temperature Classification P through U as standard, or K
or L to order.
Upon request, plug valves can be delivered with API Line Pipe threaded connection, with flanged connection, or for wing union connection.
Each plug valve is thoroughly tested before delivery and is supplied with fully traceable certification.
Plug valves are designed to meet the needs of the clients for high erosion rates as a result of having to pump such components as: cement, sand or slurry mixtures.
Available from 1 in to 3 in (4 in on special request) full bore, for pressures up to 10,000 psi (700 bar). All plug valves are of the pressure balanced type and have replaceable metal
liners between the body and the plug.
