Material of Construction

Our Y-type strainers are designed for longer service life and high performance even after consistent use in extreme and testing environments of high temperature and pressure. Our Y-strainers are designed for improved efficiency and trouble free service. These are easy to install and prevents the introduction of foreign matter in the pipelines. This saves the reoccurring expenditure in costly repairs and replacements.

Covers:
The bolted cover is machined to securely receive the screen cover. The gaskets are designed for service even in high temperatures. Covers are furnished with blow-off tapping. Blind covers are also available.

Screen:
Heavy, gauge perforated stainless steel, these are normally furnished with spot welded seams. For exceptionally fine straining, we offer perforated screen lined with wire mesh.
