Semi Automatic Gas Distribution Systems incorporate two pressure regulation devices in combination with three master valves. By setting one of the pressure regulation devices to the maximum output pressure desired and then setting the second pressure regulation device to the minimum output pressure desired, gas will be supplied to the entire system within that pressure range. Due to this pressure differential a system that calls for a constant delivery pressure will require the installation of a line regulator on the output side of the semi automatic manifold.
Semi Automatic Gas Distribution systems are designed to deliver process or laboratory gases at a constant pressure throughout a gas supply system. As with a manual manifold system this particular type of manifold is specifically designed to increase the capacity of an existing single cylinder gas supply system by allowing the use of multiple cylinders, often referred to as a cylinder bank. However, unlike the manual system the semi-automatic manifold will switch between primary and secondary sources on it's own. No user intervention is required for switching over to a full supply once the switch over pressures have been set on the pressure regulation devices.
