Room air conditioner

 Room airconditioners have long been a low cost and speedy solution to individual room heating and cooling problems. They are commonly referred to as R.A.C.'s, window or wall airconditioners, as they are mostly installed in those locations. The fascia and controls are inside the room, with the compressor motor in the external portion. R.A.C's offer thermostatic control and a selection of fan speeds. Most modern R.A.C's are much quieter and more efficient than their predecessors were.
