Installed the Built-in-wall unit about a year ago. Smart and quality design; ease of install is excellent. However, I second the comment on the NEED FOR HEATING ELEMENT! This needs it. Could use a
deeper filter cup because it overflows when setting it to 8cups...and it gets messy. Also, the steamer gets clogged periodically. I would be interested on an upgrade with a heating element.
Brew Express, February 10, 2008
I bought and installed a Brew Express about 7 months ago. As a carpenter, this unit was a breeze to install, and it makes great coffee. The only problem is there isnt a heating element. You
either drink the coffee in a short time or let it get cold. With the unit well out of the reach of little ones, it would be safe to have a heating element with a two hour shutoff for those who
like to sip coffee for 1 to two hours. I think it would be a good tdea for you designers to look into installing a heating element. Its a on the high side on the purchasing scale also. Thanks,
Lance
