Bodum Chambord 12 cup Coffee Maker

The Chambord is the predecessor to the original Melior French press coffee maker. The metal frame is made with a bit lighter gauge of steel than that of the Melior, the screw in plunger handle has a slight difference in its configuration, and the handle is constructed from a hard bakelite resin compound, rather than the Meliors Santoprene handle, but the same fine functionality, at a much more economical price!
Using a fresh coarse-ground coffee and 94, 201 F water is still the simplest way to bring out the very best from all types of coffee.
NOTE: French Press capacities are stated in standard 4 oz. coffee cups
