Modular Air Wipe

           COSMOS offers singular and multiple line air wipe (also known as wire wipe) cleaning units of wire passage in ultra hard materials, ready for installation. They feature:

How Does it Clean the Wire?
        
          The sectioned view above illustrates the operational sequence of an AWM 10 Air Wipe.
Compressed air enters the wipe cylinder through a  quick  air coupling, leading to the circumferential air pocket into the solid alumina air wipe body via 2 counter-slopped orifices which create a strong Vortex in the cleaning chamber, carrying away the contaminants from the wire in a direction opposite to the direction of movement of the wire. Cleaned wire emerges from the close-fit air wipe bore. The wire is thoroughly cleaned while the compressed air is utilized in the most efficient manner.
